Pali Cares
Pali Cares is an anonymous support program that discretely assist students in need that attend Palisades Charter High School. Palisades High is one of many of our local high schools in the Los Angeles area and they have this wonderful non-profit organization that assist students in need with the most basic necessities so they can focus on learning. Pali Cares is under the umbrella of the PCHS Booster Club, a 501C3 non-profit organization. 100% of what is raised goes back to the students. The organization is run solely on donations and grants.
Through the organization, students on the free and reduced lunch program, free and reduced transportation program and others identified by teachers, counselors or administrators will receive donated gift cards they can use towards food such as (Subway, Target, Starbucks, Ralphs, Costco, Visa, etc.). The gift cards are distributed to the students over holiday breaks when school meals are not available. The organization also provides 5 stations throughout the campus with personal care items such as (shampoo, toothbrushes, deodorant, etc.) as well as school supplies are available to any of the students that need them. These items are provided to the students in need at no additional cost.
Here’s how you can help!
- Donate in person by purchasing your own gift cards of any value (Subway, Target, Starbucks, Ralphs, Costco, Visa, etc) and drop them off in a sealed envelope at the PCHS Library or Main Office.
- Monetary donations are gladly accepted at the library or Main Office. Please write checks to Palisades High School Booster Club, add “Pali Cares” in the memo section.
- Donate new school supplies and deliver them to the school Library.
- Check the Sign-Up-Genius for their immediate needs.
- Volunteer to help by contacting the at palicares@palihigh.org
