Little Tikes Pelican Explore and Fit Cycle Ride-On

It’s a new year 2022! Yet 3 years in, and we are still dealing with the effects of a pandemic and adjusting to our new norm…..  Kids have been affected by this in a major way, from schools being shut down for in-class room learning for a period of time to not being able to play outside at recess or at home with other kids as they normally would. This greatly limits their exercise and outdoor activities. It’s truly unfortunate for them in so many ways. They are missing out on developmental social skills and physical activities that are needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Childhood Obesity in the United States is a serious health problem; 1 in 5 children and adolescents suffer from obesity, in part due to diet and not getting enough exercise.

With that being said I was happy to come across this indoor cycle bike for kids similar to the adult indoor stationary bikes that are available such as Peloton, Soul Cycle, etc. I think it’s a brilliant and fantastic way for kids to still be active and get exercise during these times. It is designed for the little ones in the age group of 3-7yrs old and has many great features.  What kid wouldn’t want to have fun, learn and exercise at the same time!

Kids see adults riding at home and they want to ride too! It’s like a cycling or spin class for kids. They offer free, easy to access, trainer adventure videos on YouTube make cycling that much more fun. The high-energy trainer videos offer stimulating visuals and exciting adventures via ipad/tablet which the bike has an holder for on the front located between the handle bars (similar to the adult stationary cycle bikes), as well as a built-in audio bluetooth speaker that allows them to play their very own music and ride along to the beat. Widely available online and in stores like Target, Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart to name a few.
