Our Story

Pink bulldozer is a website conceived to support positive energy and positive change. To nurture inclusivity in a divisive world where the forces of negativity prevail…kindness and acceptance have given way to racism and hate...angry behavior and violence is encouraged as a way to solve disagreements…respect for differing opinions is lost…reason and civility are longer revered. Inappropriate behavior has become the norm.

Our politics are broken….compromise is a thing of the past.

Our moral compass no longer leads us in the right direction. Young people struggling to make sense of it all need support and encouragement to become successful adults…

It’s time for a change! We hope you will join us in our efforts to change attitudes and support positive ideals. We can no longer leave it in the hands of others. There is too much to do. We can solve the problems we face. If we work together at the grass roots level positive change is possible.

It is the goal of Pink Bulldozer to support and showcase people, organizations, and companies dedicated to making this world better and kinder for us all. Thru this web site we will do our best to connect communities and individuals who are willing to put their efforts into changing attitudes.

We hope you will support our efforts. Become a Dozer…what can you do? It starts with us!

Why Pink Bulldozer?

The name Pink Bulldozer was inspired by a gentleman I worked with on a project several years ago. Probably not the most complimentary of titles but also not meant to be unkind, he dubbed me a “Pink Bulldozer” one day when frustrated by my tenacity to keep moving forward with a task he felt was a lost cause. At the time I had been contemplating the creation of this web site and the light bulb went off. What better name? It honors a woman’s feminine nature while simultaneously complimenting her strength and ability to keep moving even with mountains in her way. The name illustrated exactly what I wanted to express. Male or female we can push forward if we just lower our bucket down in the dirt and move forward full throttle until the mountain moves. As Nemo said long ago in the Finding Nemo story, don’t give up, ”just keep swimming.” I hope this name and the web site it represents gives you motivation to “just keep swimming.”
